The sculptor and drawer Reinhard Klessinger works in border areas. In 1969, he was already incorporating slide-, film- and video-projections into his sculptural works. Reflection with its manifold aspects is important to him. He works preferably with reflecting materials, such as mirrors, zinc, glass and varnish. He will allow situations to come into existence, which provoke reflections, from the simple mirror reflection to the most complex of ideas.
In the rooms of the MIEC Klessinger will be showing works from all his different creative and productive periods.
The work is linked by a (imaginary) circle, this circle not having a determinable center but continually revealing new reference points.
