The sculptor and draftsman Reinhard Klessinger works in boundary areas. As early as 1969, he incorporated slide projections, films, and videos into his sculptural works. Reflection, with its multiple aspects, is important to him. He preferably works with reflective materials such as mirrors, zinc, glass, and enamel. He encourages the emergence of situations that provoke reflection, ranging from the simple mirror reflection to more complex ideas.
In the MIEC galleries, Klessinger will exhibit works from all his different creative and productive periods.
The work is connected by an (imaginary) circle, which has no fixed center but continuously reveals new points of reference.
