He possesses a very personal sculptural language, which can be defined through four main characteristics: balance, tension, movement, and contrast. The <em>balance<\/em>, which he achieves intuitively, causes the sculpture to convey harmony. The sum of all its energies results in \u201cbalanced repose.\u201d <em>Tension<\/em> reaches its ultimate point when the volumes come as close as possible without ever touching. The magic \u2013 the spark \u2013 arises from the imminent contact between two masses. The <em>movement<\/em> created by the unlikely arrangement of the masses, as if they had crystallized in a moment, seems to challenge the force of gravity.
