{"id":5265,"date":"2025-07-07T10:31:46","date_gmt":"2025-07-07T09:31:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/miec.cm-stirso.pt\/exposicoes\/artist-residency-salgo-algo\/"},"modified":"2025-11-11T16:18:59","modified_gmt":"2025-11-11T15:18:59","slug":"artist-residency-salgo-algo","status":"publish","type":"exposicoes","link":"https:\/\/miec.cm-stirso.pt\/en\/exhibitions\/artist-residency-salgo-algo\/","title":{"rendered":"Artist Residency: Salgo algo"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><em>Salgo algo<\/em> is the title of the exhibition of the projects developed by the students of the Sculpture Atelier II from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto for the spaces of the Santo Thyrso Factory as part of the program of the Santo Tirso\u2019s International Museum of Contemporary Sculpture.<\/p>\n\n<p>\u201cA salga\u201d [Salting], as an ancestral conservation process, brings us the idea of extending time, prolonging the qualities, postponing finitude. On the other hand, the word \u201calgo\u201d [something] that appears to us also contained in the conjugation of the verb \u201csalgar\u201d [to salt] challenges us to the importance of the unknown in the creative processes.
